Why I Built SchooledWithLove
The Moment Everything Changed
I wish I could say the idea for SchooledWithLove came to me in a flash of brilliant inspiration. The truth is much more humbling: it came from years of being gently (and sometimes not-so-gently) corrected, guided, and loved by my wife.
For a long time, like many spouses, I walked around assuming my way of loading the dishwasher, handling stress, or communicating was just the "default" way. It wasn't until I started truly paying attention that I realized how much I was learning from her every single day.
The Problem with Relationship Advice
When I looked around the internet for relationship advice, everything felt so... clinical. It was all "therapy-adjacent" listicles, algorithms pushing performance metrics, and advice from "experts" trying to fix broken marriages.
But what about the marriages that aren't broken? What about the daily, quiet, profound things we learn from our partners simply by sharing a life with them?
A Celebration, Not a Fix
I realized I wanted a place to record these lessons. Not to perform for followers, not to virtue-signal on Instagram, but to genuinely honor what love teaches us. To say, "She was right. Again."
That's why I built SchooledWithLove. It’s an anti-algorithm, pro-appreciation space where couples can share the funny, tender, and hard-won lessons they've learned from each other. Because the greatest teacher you'll ever have is the person sitting across from you at the breakfast table.
